Myfolks Named North Tyneside Business Awards Finalist

We are delighted that Myfolks has been named as a finalist in the Innovation and Technology category for the North Tyneside Business Awards 2024.

The Myfolks app and support system, that bridges the gap between health and social care, has been supported by Health Innovation North East and North Cumbria (HI NENC) through its value proposition and development.

Myfolks aims to combat social isolation by using technology to provide help at the press of a button.

Recognised by the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme, Myfolks is partnered with the Arrow Programme and Newcastle and Northumbria Universities to advance machine learning in real-time support systems for the elderly.

The Myfolks app connects users with supportive individuals (Myfolksers) drawn from the local community, to provide on-demand care and support with everday needs.

Louise Thompson, Founder and CEO of Myfolks, has shared her personal drive and passion into establishing a compassionate support service
