Diabetes in Older People and Frailty: Neva Ferguson, Diabetes Medical Education Associate Lead, Eli Lilly & Co
Neva joined Lilly as part of the MEA (Medical Education) team in 2018, progressing to Senior/Lead Associate in 2022. Neva has worked within diabetes care throughout her nursing career but predominantly in the complex care of adults within the community/integrated care setting. Neva has over 20 years’ experience as a Diabetes Specialist Nurse and most recently as Senior Lead Diabetes Nurse supporting local commissioners and providers in transforming diabetes services in primary care. She has extensive educational experience both nationally & locally and also lectures in diabetes within the Nursing, Pharmacy and Paramedic Health Science Schools at her local University.
