CDRC supporting primary care for the COVID 19 response
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic the Clinical Digital Resource Collaborative (CDRC) team has produced digital resources within both EMIS and SystmOne that support the assessment and management of patients with suspected COVID-19 and those in the high risk group. In addition a suite of free-to-use tools and digital resources is now available for individuals and organisations to deliver gold-standard patient care efficiently.
CDRC digital resources include the development of dynamic templates, contextual alerts, patient status icons, powerful searches and standardised regional referral information. Clinicians and users can access them through their existing clinical systems (SystmOne and EMIS) or find more information here. The CDRC have also developed a COVID-19 Prioritisation of Care Protocol for patients recently diagnosed with cancer to help practices record and follow up on referral decisions and feedback. The most recent addition to the resource is a guide to ‘shielding Against COVID-19’. These resources have been hazard reviewed by NECS data quality team (for safety and accuracy) and are free to use for clinicians using SystmOne or EMIS. CDRC have developed clear guideline for all resources which can be found here.
CDRC digital resources are designed and developed in the North East and North Cumbria by local clinicians. Their work is supported by NECS (North East Commissioning Support Unit) and AHSN NENC.
