Exposure to air pollution is estimated to cause between 28,000 and 36,000 deaths in the UK each year, and more than 2,000 GP practices and 200 hospitals are in areas affected by toxic air. A free sharing and learning webinar on Thursday 23 March, 9.15–11.00 will explore ways to address exposure to air pollution.

Hosted by the AHSN Network and the AHSN NENC, as part of our series of events focused on sustainability and supporting NHS Net Zero, the session is an opportunity to hear about the implementation of the Clean Air Framework in the North East, and meet innovators deploying solutions to tackle toxic air.

The session will be useful for anyone involved with delivering the Net Zero agenda in health and care services, including sustainability, estates and clinical leads, local authorities and innovators.
