The NHS Long Term Plan sets an ambition to prevent over 150,000 heart attacks, strokes & dementia cases over a 10 year period. Early detection and treatment of CVD can help patients live longer, healthier lives
This year saw the reintroduction of Cholesterol indicators within QOF for almost 10 years. We aim to support Primary Care with some practical skills & knowledge to help facilitate detection & management of CVD patients.
This practical session for SystmOne users, led by Dr Gareth Forbes, will demonstrate the dashboard which comprehensively includes QOF indicators, primary and secondary prevention, lipid lowering medications, CVD risk assessment and FH.
