For fifteen years our event has grown, attracting more and more businesses who want the chance to tap into new markets and expand their supply chain.
EMCONS profile has grown, as companies from beyond the area started to sit up and take notice and realise there was no better shop window to promote themselves to businesses that they might otherwise not get the chance to meet.
Taking on board feedback from past exhibitors, visitors and sponsors, Engineering & Manufacturing Network review the event every year looking at its identity and finding ways to improve its delivery. It has now become a prominent event in the manufacturing and engineering calendar and continues to deliver success stories and collaboration year after year.
In 2023 EMCON moves to a new home at Rainton Arena, between Sunderland and Durham at the geographical centre of the region to highlight our focus on the whole North East region.
And this year we’re launching some new elements and putting a bigger focus on the exhibition, showcasing and networking part of the show. We’re aiming to ensure that 80% of the companies exhibiting are engineering and manufacturing businesses and putting significant emphasis on attracting engineering and manufacturing company visitors from across the North East and beyond by introducing VIP tours for potential purchasing teams and a ticketed Meet the Buyer event.
We’ve also introduced several new zoned areas, clustering businesses around a theme to create more opportunities for connections which is one of the things that EMCON does best!
