How old is too old? A case study in shared decision making: Vicky Johnston, Physiotherapist (Specialising in Frailty ) , Copeland Primary Care Network , North Cumbria
Vicky works as a physiotherapist specialising in the care of older adults living with frailty living in the Copeland district of West Cumbria.
Having qualified as a physiotherapist in 1996, Vicky has specialised in the care and rehabilitation of older adults for the majority of her career, and has worked in London, Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, Cumbria, Suffolk and Norfolk spanning a variety of settings including acute care, rehabilitation, falls prevention, community and intermediate care. Vicky has worked as a tutor for Later Life Training since 2008.
Vicky’s main areas of clinical interest are ageing well, falls reduction and safer mobility.
