This webinar hosted by the Intensive Care Society, will highlight a number of U.K. and international projects that have produced guidance for the varied multidisciplinary staff involved in tracheostomy care, explaining the principles, resources and evidence available to guide best practice.

This will include the safe tracheostomy care toolkit published by the National Tracheostomy Safety Project (NTSP) in collaboration with the AHSN Network and the National Patient Safety Improvement Programmes.

The first results from the U.K. COVIDtrach audit will be presented and discussed along with national experts discussing the implications for staff at the bedside in caring for and rehabilitating some of our most complex patients.
