Newcastle Health Innovation Partners (NHIP) Academy is pleased to welcome Duncan Yellowlees back to host his second Fellows Forum workshop.

The Fellows Forum is a peer-to-peer support network for researchers working with NHIP Academy and will offer a programme of events to share best practice and network.

Duncan Yellowlees is an expert in academic presentation and science communication with over a decade of experience working with thousands of researchers to increase their skills and confidence when it comes to presentations and research communication.

This time around Duncan’s workshop, PPT and Data: No more death by PPT!is dedicated to improving slide design and data presentation skills, ensuring audiences remains engaged.

This session provides the opportunity to:

  • Understand the pitfalls of bad slides
  • Master the art of presenting data effectively
  • Learn techniques to visually captivate your audience
  • Discover cool slide hacks
  • Gain a fresh perspective on data
  • Hear an intriguing story about Florence Nightingale
