NHIP Academy is proud to host a series of events where researchers can hear directly from funders about personal awards and fellowship schemes, including doctoral and advanced/post-doctoral fellowships.
The Know Your Funder series will see speakers give an overview of the different schemes available to health and care researchers on the career development pathway.
Each event will take in a ‘Zoom and in the room’ hybrid format to allow local networking and regional reach.
Our July Know Your Funder event will be hosted by Professor Dave Jones, Professor of Liver Immunology, Newcastle University, Deputy Chair of UKRI MRC Clinical academic research partnerships (CARP) scheme.
The event will take place on 18 July 2023 in Ridley 2, 1.59, Newcastle University, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE2 4AA. In person registration to start at 12pm followed by the hybrid presentation at 12:15pm.
Lunch and informal networking will commence at 1pm – 2pm. There will be a limited number of 1:1 sessions available for researchers who would like the opportunity to discuss their current applications with Ashley.
