Diagnostics North East: Past, Present and Future
Newcastle Health Innovation Partners (NHIP) is pleased to welcome Dr Michael Wright, Chair of Diagnostics North East (DxNE), Deputy Medical Director and Consultant Clinical Geneticist (Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) and Associate Clinical Lecturer (Newcastle University), to present the next NHIP Lightning Talk.
DxNE is a consortium of the North Easts leading diagnostics organisations, committed to working collaboratively to support the discovery, development, evaluation, and adoption of diagnostics for better patient outcomes. Dr Wright will share the background of DxNE, exploring why it was established, its current partners, and its ambitions for the future.
Lightning Talks are designed to stimulate debate, questions, and curiosity from NHIP stakeholders. They also aim to raise awareness of the incredible work taking place across NHIP organisations for the benefit of patients and the population.
Typically, the events are a 30-minute virtual session, comprising a 15-minute presentation, and 15 minutes allocated for rapid response to questions or observations.
