The NHS Innovation Accelerator (NIA)

The NIA is an NHS England initiative delivered in partnership with England’s 15 Academic Health Science Networks (AHSNs), hosted at UCLPartners. The 2021 intake call is open now until 23:59 on 16 October 2020.

Applications are welcome from individuals from any background, including clinical, SMEs, academic and charity/third sector. Applicants should be passionate about scaling an evidence-based, high impact innovation across England’s NHS.

In alignment with the current NHS priorities of COVID-19 Reset and Recovery, innovations put forward this year must address at least one of the following themes:

• NHS response to COVID-19
• Mental health
• Supporting the workforce
