AHSN NENC is working with Health Education England to develop a Community of Practice for PCN Pharmacy Professionals within NENC Integrated Care System. This is the fourth in a series of networking meetings and will focus on sharing best practice and resources on supporting medicines optimisation in vulnerable adults and people in Care Homes.
The Community of Practice (CoP) has the support of senior pharmacy managers within NENC ICS and will have the following aims and objectives:
Aim
The aim of the event is to create community of practice for PCN pharmacy representatives working in primary care in NENC.
Objectives
- To support the development of a leadership structure and create a platform for lead primary care pharmacy professionals to identify, share and communicate common issues across the ICS
- To facilitate networking, sharing of best practice, to improve effective use of resources and reduce duplication
- To promote quality improvement and primary care research
