Newcastle Health Innovation Partners (NHIP) is hosting a symposium on how teaching and training about ageing and multiple long-term conditions (A+MLTCs) will shape our workforce of the future.

The event takes place Friday 9th June (09.30-13.00) at Newcastle University and is relevant to any educator based in a university, NHS organisation or local authority who is involved in teaching or training about A+MLTCs.

Health and care professionals interact with patients from our aging population, with often complex medical needs, every day. Our programme will cover how, through education, we are united in an aim to improve the quality of care for older people and patients with MLTCs. It will include examples from undergraduate medicine, physiotherapy and dietetics, postgraduate nursing, and care home training.

The meeting is hybrid with attendance in person or online. Please use the following link for further information and booking: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/nhip-ageing-and-multiple-long-term-conditions-education-symposium-tickets-625140972477
