Hannah Spooner
Project Support Officer
Project support for the Economic Growth team
Hannah joined HI NENC in September 2023 as a Project Support Officer.
Hannah completed her undergraduate Biomedical Sciences (Hons) degree at Northumbria University, before transferring to Newcastle University to earn her MSc in Medical Sciences. Since graduating, Hannah has worked mainly within the NHS, in both primary and secondary care. She was most recently employed as a Quality Support Officer at Newcastle Hospitals, supporting the trust-wide Quality and Effectiveness workstream.
Hannah has a passion for healthcare and innovation. Since 2019 she has completed various CPD courses in healthcare leadership, Quality Improvement, Lean, and Large Scale Change. Hannah continually translates this learning into practice, notably in a previous job role leading QI projects in a GP practice setting.
At HI NENC, Hannah is currently developing her knowledge and skills surrounding project management methodology.
