Leanne joins us as a Project Support Officer for the Digital Transformation Team. She is Sunderland born and bred and has 16 years of NHS experience working at South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust.She has had various roles from Waiting List Management to Personal Medical Secretary. A career highlight was assisting the set up of the Innovation arm of the Research and Innovation Department. With a particular interest in innovation and digital transformation, Leanne is keen to see the impact of new technologies on the front line of the NHS in the primary care field. She also very passionate about the FH and Lipids programme, having the FH mutation herself and a son who also has what is known as homozygous FH, she is very supportive of children being tested for this at a young age. Leanne describes herself as very well organised, meticulous, enthusiastic and customer focussed.
