This event was aimed at anyone who is interested in the delivery and design of Maternity and/or Neonatal Services, including (but not limited to) consultants, nurses, HCAs, voluntary sector organisations, parents, CCGs and the ambulance service.
What is the North East North Cumbria Health Safety Collaborative Learning System? The Learning System has developed as a direct result of the Maternity and Neonatal Health Safety Collaborative (https://improvement.nhs.uk/resources/maternal-and-neonatal-safety-collaborative/)
Within the North East and North Cumbria region we aim to hold four events each year, thereby providing the opportunity for individuals and organisations to come together to share and learn from each other. The ultimate aim of the learning system is to improve the care delivered within maternity and neonatal services across the region.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to hear:
- from LMS/Maternity Voice Partnership about meaningful co-production with service users
- hear from five Trusts in the region who are working on projects to improve patient care. The Trusts involved are North Tees & Hartlepool NHS FT, County Durham and Darlington NHS FT, Gateshead Health NHS FT, Northumbria Health Care NHS FT and South Tees Hospitals NHS FT
- hear about the progress being made in the region regarding the PReCePT programme, which is about preventing cerebral palsy in preterm labour
- Learn some problem solving tools and techniques to help support you in your daily work
